Author, speaker, teacher, musician, cat lover, traveler, history buff, political science dabbler--Debbie G. Brownfield enjoys all of these pursuits, but her greatest love is encapsulating all of these into novels. Her novels are rich in family, courage, suspense, and love. You won't want to miss any of these stories as the Merrill family and friends become heroes and heroines just by courageously choosing to face danger to help others. They encourage us all to do our part to fight societal evils. 

 

     Debbie resides in South Carolina where she teaches college English and gives piano lessons among other things. She can often be found at one of the coffee shops in town.

 

     Her passion to fight human trafficking is so great that she donates to several ministries that aid the victims of trafficking on both a local and a national level.

 

     The cats she has rescued often have a small part in her stories. She loves learning about local lore, legends and folk tales, but she also enjoys reminiscing about her travels to other countries, and the places she has visited are often highlighted in her stories, as well.
